The De Vere Code eBook Jonathan Bond

“Wonderfully articulate and engaging... His discoveries and conclusions regarding the authorship question are compelling... a pleasure to read”.
Mark Rylance, actor and former Artistic Director, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
“Hats off to Jonathan Bond! This is an absorbing, beautifully crafted work, which provides what no other book on Shakespeare has provided proof of the authorship of that most mysterious volume, Shake-speares Sonnets”
Charles Beauclerk, Earl of Burford, heir of the family of Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford
A 400-year-old cypher—unlocked. An epic Elizabethan love story—uncovered.
Many have suggested that the name SHAKE-SPEARE was a mask concealing the identity of a hidden poet, but nothing has ever been proved. Until now.
In this extraordinary book, one of the most dazzling encryptions in the history of secret writing is deciphered, conclusively establishing the true author of
SHAKE-SPEARE’S SONNETS.
It is no understatement to say that this book may cause a fundamental change in the way Shake-speare is perceived by all who have an interest in the greatest creative works in the English language. Over the past hundred years, an increasingly insistent argument has been made that the plays and poems published by Shakespeare could not have been written by the Stratford glover’s son, William Shaksper. All that has been missing is proof.
In THE DE VERE CODE, the author presents that proof—never before imprinted—that the author of SHAKE-SPEARES SONNETS was revealed in an astonishing cypher concealed in the dedication to these beautiful poems, first published 400 years ago in 1609.
After four centuries shrouded in mystery, this remarkable new evidence also proves the identity of sonnets’ inspirer—the Fair Youth—and explains the circumstances surrounding the publication of the most famous love poems ever written.
If you thought you knew Shakespeare – think again.

Speculative arguments, confirmation requires faith, but insightful and entertaining nonetheless. The Bard of "Avon" - or Stratford - needs to be put to rest, such a hopeless case, but the mystery of authorship will remain. The De Vere Code eBook Jonathan Bond Reviews
Very fascinating explanation of De Vere's complex life. He could well be the author of the plays, and I think there will be a final decision
among people soon because of such analyses as this one.
I am admittedly only halfway through this book, but was disappointed in the extreme when I actually got to the part where the author discusses the dedication to the Sonnets, and instead of re-printing a graphic of the actual dedication page, he re-creates the dedication so that it looks irrefutably to be arranged in a 6-2-4 schematic, wherein the first 6 lines of the dedication are grouped together, then the next 2 lines, and then the next 4 lines, as John M Rollett first proposed back in 1999.
The dedication to the Sonnets is not so irrefutably delineated, as you can see if you click on this link
[...]
The reason this is important is because the whole argument for the first cypher discussed in this book relies on a 6-2-4 "code-breaker" derived from this supposed 6-2-4 schematic.
Further, the author states that applying a 6-2-4 schematic throughout the entire dedication results in the following line
"These...sonnets...all...by...ever...the...forth"
And then gives a plausible explanation of why the first part of that line means the sonnets are all by Edward de Vere (ever = Vere = E. Vere = Edward de Vere), but then gives an obscure convoluted explanation of why "the forth" means "the fourth" which everyone should know should be translated into Dutch, and the translation of "the fourth" in Dutch is "de Vierde".
Well. There you go.
Aside from the fact that the dedication *does not* give you a 6-2-4 schematic (it looks like a 5-1-1-1-4 schematic to me), applying a 6-2-4 schematic throughout the entire dedication page gives you
"These...sonnets...all...by...ever...the...forth...T"
What's the final T stand for?
At any rate, I wrote a letter to the editor of Shakespeare Matters about this topic, which was published in the Winter 2012 volume, as to a possible different interpretation, if anyone is interested. I'm not in any way wedded to that particular interpretation, but it's a least as plausible as this one.
With all that said, however, this is a nicely written and succinct introduction to the enigma of the dedication.
Mr. Bond stays the course of of interpreting the Thirpe dedication of the Shakesperan Sonnets with astonishing exactness and connotation. This book is a must read for all who wish a more concrete pathway to Edward De Vere's authorship of the sonnets. The beauty of the premise is that it never taints the poems themselves, or alludes to the glorious plays. It is a simple and solid approach to a rather mysterious and shunned question in literature. i dare say mr. Bond doesn't Stir, No He Shakes the foundation of the Stradfordians.
Yet another book about who Shake-speare was. Personally I see flaws in the foundation they are using. The word to the stop is 'ever-living', not just ever, and a bad start doesn't bear well for the ideas in the remainder of the book. I'm personally sided with the book "Neville and the Shakespeare Code", if not a plan of my own choosing as to what (note not who) Shake-speare was.
For centuries, many people, from all walks of life, have expressed grave doubt about the standard, orthodox assertion that the fellow from Stratford-On-Avon - Will Shakspere - authored the works of "William Shakespeare". Within the past ninety years, a far more persuasive(albeit circumstantial)case has been made for Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, as being the true author, having written the works under the pen name "William Shakespeare".
In his book, "The De Vere Code", Jonathan Bond provides CONCLUSIVE evidence (a "smoking gun", if you will) that "seals the deal" for De Vere.
And so, for those afficionados of history and literature - especially for those who DO care about WHO ACTUALLY authored the Shakespeare canon, I highly recommend this eminently readable book!

If you are interested in the Shakespeare Authorship Question, and you wish to see the strongest evidence presented with the utmost brevity, this book is for you! This book reveals - to my mind, without a doubt - the true authorship of the wonderful plays and poems we attribute to someone who was either named Shakespeare or adopted that name as his nom de plume.
Shakespeare scholars have been puzzled for centuries by the curious Dedication to "Shake-Speares Sonnets." It comprises only 144 letters, yet Bond (a mathematician) shows that it contains an acrostic cipher, a numerical cipher, a translation cipher, an anagram cipher, and four transposition ciphers!
The probability that these hidden messages have arisen by chance is - to all intents and purposes - zero! The Dedication is an extraordinarily sophisticated composition that is the Great Author's way of revealing his identity!
If you thought that the Great Author whom we know as Shakespeare was clever, but you have not yet read this book, you have not yet realized just how clever he was!
Speculative arguments, confirmation requires faith, but insightful and entertaining nonetheless. The Bard of "Avon" - or Stratford - needs to be put to rest, such a hopeless case, but the mystery of authorship will remain.
